Contra Bass Wind Chime

The latest addition to the Music of the Spheres family is 9 feet tall - larger than the Bass but smaller than the Basso Profundo.
The tuning is expanded quartal, like the Basso Profundo - our apologies, we do not have a soundbyte of this chime. It weighs 110 pounds when hung, and will sing in low tones when it sounds. The Contra Bass is warranted for 15 years.
The Contra Bass is 108" long from the knot to the wind catcher. It uses 3 1/2" diameter tubing.
The Contra Bass ships UPS to 48 states and the wait for this particular chime can be up to four weeks, but if you're in the market for a chime of this size, it's well worth the wait.

The Basso Profundo is only tuned to the Quartal tuning, actually, the Expanded Quartal. We don't care. Our collective goal is to have a location big enough to hang one of these. Yes, we've seen one in person. There is no way that we can convey the majesty of this instrument in words or over a speaker. If you're lucky enough to have a place for these, we sincerely believe you'll never ever regret it.
The Basso Profundo is 168" long from the knot to the wind catcher. That's 14 feet! You could stand on your friend's head and still not be as tall as this wind chime. We recommend clearance of at least 18 feet. It uses 5" diameter tubing and weighs 200 pounds!

Love Wind Chime

The chime striker is created in the image of Tibetan meditation chimes. Only a light breeze is required to drive the clapper into the tubes. Meditation Brass Wind Chime

The Tibetan Meditation Chime originating in the Himalayas is another of our small chimes. These are made of solid brass rods, with a choice of with wind vane motif. These feel quite substantial, and yet create a subdued relaxing harmony sound that won't annoy anyone's neighbors. We sometimes call them "condo" chimes.

Serenity with Crystal Wind Chime

The Serenity with Crystal Wind Chime is available in any of our motifs. They are three-quarter inch, solid aluminum rods that are extremely resonant, and durably assembled with our specially-made polypropylene cord. Like the Meditation chimes, these chimes feature the Yin and Yang clappers or strikers, which ensures that the sound vibrations originate from a source of harmony.
The Serenity wind chime features a swirling star hanging bracket, symbolic of the heavens, which is also used on the Harmony chimes. Serenity chimes, probably the most resonant aluminum wind chimes made anywhere, produce a higher frequency sound, which many people love.
The wind chimes come finished in a golden color with a quartz crystal. Some people like the decorative quality of the quartz, while others are attracted by the New Age associations with healing vibrations.
