Harmony Hollow Replacement Large Windvane

This large windvane is found on our larger multiple bells and chimes. It is made from sheet brass and comes with a short length of double-link chain.
One of the unique results of our ongoing engineering efforts is that our bells are more responsive in the breeze than others found on the market. All our bells ring easily in the wind because the windvane has been engineered to lift with a nine to ten mile-per-hour breeze; it then rotates on the double chain link and drives the clapper into the bell. Then the windvane rotates back into the wind, lifts, falls, and the process repeats.
We make the windvane as rugged as we can, but it remains a part that is subject to wear. Windvanes usually last about ten to fifteen years, at which time they must be replaced.

Music of the Spheres Replacement Wind Catchers

The diamond-shaped wind catcher at the bottom of your Music of the Spheres, Inc. chime is the "motor" that makes the chime work. Wind catchers harness the power of the wind and transfer it to the clapper, which moves to strike the tubes and play the music.
The larger the surface area of the wind catcher for a given size chime, the less wind is needed to activate it. We design our chimes to play in eight to ten mile-per-hour breezes. If your chimes hang in an extraordinarily enclosed or exposed area, they will require a correspondingly larger or smaller wind catcher than the standard one, to achieve a "standard" activity level. When ordering a larger windcatcher, you should also order, in most cases, the next larger hook attachment. The hook attachment works like a safety pin and permits easy removal and reattachment so that you can exchange wind catcher sizes. This ease of removal also permits you to "turn down" the chime easily during intermittent windy weather.
Our Music of the Spheres , Inc. wind catchers are made of tempered aluminum alloy with a powder coat finish. This finish provides corrosion protection and durability in all kinds of outdoor environments (acid rain, salt air, etc.)

18" Curved Wall Brackets

Curved Wall Brackets are great for wall-mounting your wind chimes. This hook is fashioned of black wrought iron and full of curves to mimic the arcs and circles of our chimes.
This 18" wall bracket is designed to be used with heavy chimes and can hold up to 15 lbs, such as the Soprano, Mezzo, Alto and Westminster wind chimes.

Extension Hanger Hooks - Also known as tree hooks. This hook is fashioned of black wrought iron.
- Hook one end to a tree limb the other to your wind chime or bell.
